Gastroenterologist
Dr. Gallagher is a board-certified gastroenterologist dedicated to providing comprehensive, compassionate care for a wide range of digestive and liver disorders. With a clinical philosophy rooted in prevention and patient education, Dr. Gallagher believes that the best medical outcomes are achieved through a collaborative partnership between physician and patient.
Colon Cancer Prevention:
A firm advocate for the “Screening Saves Lives” mission, Dr. Gallagher specializes in high-quality screening colonoscopy with the goal of reducing the incidence of colorectal cancer in our community.
Metabolic Health & Liver Care (MASLD):
Dr. Gallagher has an interest in the management of Metabolic Dysfunction- Associated Steatotic Liver Disease (MASLD), formerly known as “Fatty Liver Disease.” Recognizing the rising impact of metabolic health on liver function, she works closely with patients to develop personalized strategies—combining medical management with lifestyle optimization—to reverse liver fat and prevent long-term complications.
“I understand that procedures like colonoscopies can feel daunting for many patients. My goal is to make every patient feel heard, comfortable, and empowered. Whether we are preventing cancer through screening or managing metabolic liver health, I am focused on providing evidence-based care that fits each individual’s unique lifestyle.”
After living in Brooklyn, New York, for nine years, Dr. Gallagher returned home to the Cleveland area to be closer to family. She and her husband are busy raising their young children. They are joined by their dog—aptly named Brooklyn—who serves as a daily reminder of their time in New York.
When she isn’t in the endoscopy suite, you can find Dr. Gallagher enjoying family hikes, playing tennis, traveling, or exploring the local Cleveland food scene.
